The Warwick Castle day trip went down very well, so well that they went back again this month!
Club Trips
The trips funded by the Awards for All grant have been a roaring success. The finale being a wet and windy stay in the Lake District. Everyone had a great time, with 100% wanting a repeat next year!
New Tech club
Renishaw have very kindly offered to support our newest Technology club based in Stroud.
Awards for All!
Very excited to have won our first National Lottery money to take existing clubs away for day trips (to include Warwick Castle, Basketball matches and a trip to a snowdome) and an outward bound weekend!
Basketball Club moved venue
The Basketball Club is continuing to grow, helped along this autumn by Gloucestershire County Council as we move to a larger court in the centre of town.
Magnox Socio-Economic Programme support
Another successful bid with Magnox means that two Gloucestershire after-school STEM clubs are able to run a full program of design, test and build projects.
Basketball Club launch
We’re pleased to announce that our latest club for home educators is being set up with the help of more Sportivate funding. The first basketball sessions begin later this month.
iMechE award
Worcester Tech Club has done really well to secure a full year of funding for mechanical projects from IMechE. Congratulations!
Active Together
Our Snowsports Club is going from strength to strength and has now won funding from GCC’s Active Together fund, to expand the club and encourage parents to participate alongside their children.
Sportivate funding
We were delighted to win our first Sportivate grant from Sport England this year to introduce home educated youngsters to skiing and snowboarding.
